Back where it all began - Nylok LLC
In 1957, William Rundle was looking for work after the mill he had been foreman of in Elmira NY closed. A friend helped him make a connection with the Nylok Company in Paramus NJ, so Bill and his wife moved from Upstate New York to Bergen County NJ, leaving their family, friends and two grown children behind.

Bill's son was in college at the time, and Bill helped him get a job in the Nylok factory during the summers. When Bob Rundle graduated in 1958, he got a full time job at Nylok, and over the next sixteen years moved up the ranks from the factory, to inside sales, to outside sales. Bob eventually became Nylok's national sales manager before leaving to start R.W. Rundle Associates Inc in December of 1974.

With that history in mind, we are extremely proud to announce that Rundle Associates, in cooperation with Callahan & Moynihan Inc. of Lee Massachusetts, has been named the Mid-Atlantic sales representative for Nylok LLC. While its been over 40 years since a Rundle has worked at Nylok, there is no doubt that without them, my family story would be dramatically different than it is today. It is a great honor to be back with the company that helped start it all.

About Nylok LLC
A MARMON GROUP CO., PART OF BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY
Since Nylok's  foundation in 1942, they have  registered over 150 patents, more than any other company in their field. Many of these patents came about as a solution to a need one of their customers expressed to them.

Today, Nylok products serve customers around the world - in a diverse range of industries such as automotive, aerospace, military and agricultural equipment. They've solved fastener problems from NASA applications to the small home appliance industry. They were even called upon by a shoe manufacturer to help adjust the sound of the taps worn by performers in "Lord of the Dance".

In each industry and virtually every country they serve, they're known for the innovation of their design and the quality of  their products. But as good as their current fastener systems are, they're convinced the best is yet to come.
As always, thank you for reading the newsletter and please let us know if you have any questions.
