Who said running a business was easy -- said no one ever! After a week of catchup, I'm almost back to my regularly scheduled days... And just when I think I can work on the Connectfest website more last night - the old editor in Constant Contact (where this newsletter is created) is not functioning well now that the new editor is out) -- guess what that meant. Yup - recreating the newsletter from scratch... Not what I had planned for my evening - but what else is new. LOL.
First Up...
This week is International Networking Week - check out our blog below, and back in 2016, we were running our first Connectfest Niagara event during this week.. here's some photos from the 2016 event - wow, what a day it was! This year we moved it to April in celebration of International Marketing Operations Appreciation Day (wow that's a mouthful). The move was mainly because I didn't want the uncertainty of the weather playing a role in the success of the event....
And send me note with how often you attend networking events? Weekly, monthly, now and then?
Myself, Mackenzie and Steve decided to Brunch, Bid & Bowl in March, we would love it if you would cheer us on with a small donation - proceeds of the event go to Birchway Niagara (formerly Women's Place)...
Oh, and one more thing - PRowl Communications, Telltale Studios, Connecting Niagara and Niagara Business Directory have been nominated for the Niagara Community Awards, I would love it if you would take the time to also nominate us - this is how we move to the next round.. We're under services in a variety of categories! Thank you in advance.
Networking: (Local Niagara)
Clients & Cocktails Networking - this week we will be in Fonthill - if you would like an invite, message me for the details! Friday, 3:30 - 6:00 pm. This year Clients & Cocktails Networking is celebrating 10 years of networking every Friday. We will have a special event on February 16th in St. Catharines.
Don't forget if you're local, add your business to the NIAGARA BUSINESS DIRECTORY.
