The Swimming Pool Regulations, 1999 Proposed Amendments Consultation
The Government of Saskatchewan is currently seeking feedback from stakeholders, partners, and the public regarding proposed changes to The Swimming Pool Regulations, 1999. This is an open consultation, and your input is vital to help shape the future of public health and safety in public swimming pool facilities across the province.
Instead of listing individual amendments throughout each consultation document, proposed changes are organized by theme to support a more accessible review. However, it is essential that all participants read the side-by-side comparison document, which outlines every specific amendment in full. We encourage you to review all materials linked below and provide your feedback through the survey document, referencing specific sections wherever possible. Your input is important to ensuring the updated regulations are practical, effective, and aligned with the realities of the public swimming pool sector.
Complete the Engagement Survey by October 24, 2025, through the link below. For any questions or additional support please email phbadmin@health.gov.sk.ca or call 306.787.8847.
