SARM Member Needs Assessment Survey

As SARM looks ahead to 2030 in developing a Strategic Plan for the next five years, we want to check in with you, our members, on what your needs and challenges are, so that we can look for ways to support your operations in meaningful, tangible ways.

Below are two survey links. One is for administrators to complete on their own. The other is for members of Council to complete on their own.

As a thank you for your time, we are going to make a draw for two Pre-Paid Visa Gift Cards out of the administrator’s responses and two more Pre-Paid Visa Gift Cards out of the elected official’s responses. Please include your email address in the “Other Comments” box towards the end of the survey, if you wish to be entered into the draw.

Have Your Say—A Survey Is Coming Your Way!

When we know more, we can do more. That’s why SARM is counting on your insights and participation in an upcoming demographics survey, arriving to your inboxes in early August. The survey, designed to help SARM better understand the diversity and demographics within your RM councils, will allow us to better support and serve both you and your communities.

By completing the survey, your input will:

  • Help SARM better understand the diversity and demographics within your RM councils.
  • Provide insights that identify existing relationships and foster overlooked ones.
  • Translate data into effective actions and outcomes.
  • Allow us to help you continue doing your important work.

Taking the survey will be easy (it really will!). When the email arrives in early August, simply click on the link provided to start and complete the survey in minutes!

Healthcare Practitioner Community Settlement Toolkit

The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency wants your feedback! The agency is drafting a “Healthcare Practitioner Community Settlement Toolkit” where local initiatives and strategies are being gathered from communities and incorporated into a resource to share across Saskatchewan.

Community involvement in supporting healthcare workers is a critical part of healthcare retention and the agency extends its gratitude for the work that is being done.

The agency is interested in learning from communities who are supporting healthcare workers at the local level to provide them insights into their work.

If you are interested in collaborating with the agency on this project, please contact Ashley Blumson, Policy Analyst and Stakeholder Relations Lead at Ashley.blumson@saskhealthrecruitment.ca or 306-281-3208.

  • an independent or not-for-profit economic development organization
  • a community organization with an independent board of directors made up of different community stakeholders
  • a Chamber of Commerce
  • a regional economic development organization with local presence in the community

To participate in either pilot, your community must:

Crop Report for the Period of June 25 to July 1, 2024

Producers are reporting overall good crop, pasture and hay conditions throughout the province this week. Rain was widespread, with some areas receiving significant amounts along with isolated hail events. Excess moisture in some regions of the province is continuing to contribute to flooding of crops in low lying areas. In other regions of the province that have received reduced rainfall amounts, moisture would be welcome in the coming weeks to support crop, pasture and hay development.
