SARM Demographic Survey

Rural Municipal Councils

When we know more, we can do more. That’s why SARM is counting on your insights and participation in our demographics survey. The survey, designed to help SARM better understand the diversity and demographics within your RM councils, will allow us to better support and serve both you and your communities.

By completing the survey, your input will:

  • Help SARM better understand the diversity and demographics within your RM councils.
  • Provide insights that identify existing relationships and foster overlooked ones.
  • Translate data into effective actions and outcomes.
  • Allow us to help you continue doing your important work.

Who can participate:

  • Reeves
  • Councillors

Taking the survey is easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. SARM members received a separate email on August 1st with a link to complete the survey. If you have any questions or require a link, please contact Amy Roettger at aroettger@sarm.ca.

Crop Report for the Period of August 6-12, 2024

Harvest is underway in many areas of the province as hot and dry conditions continue to advance crop maturity. Producers that haven't begun to harvest continue to desiccate, empty grain bins and prepare equipment. Pasture conditions in much of Saskatchewan are diminishing due to the hot and dry conditions. Sporadic rainfall in north and east parts of the province will benefit later seeded crops as they mature, but it is too late to benefit early seeded crops.
