  • 2023 No Child Hungry Summit Starting October 17th, the two-day summit will address the ways to combat child hunger in rural communities. To learn more about the solutions, partnerships, and policies used to fight child hunger, register here.



  • 3RNet 2023 Academy The State Office of Rural Health is offering a set of webinars that addresses the issues effecting rural/underserved communities at no charge. Session two of the series goes live October 17th. Find more information about this series here.




  • Happy Mama Expo 2023 This October 21st event is for all expecting mothers looking for guidance on healthy pregnancy and better understanding motherhood. Click here for more information.


  • Domestic Violence Through the Eyes of a Child This event will shed light on the impacts of domestic violence on children through different stages of development and how it effects their overall health.   • Perry County Drive Thru Community Baby Shower The event is an opportunity for parents and caregivers of newborns and infants up to age two to learn about healthy pregnancy and development for babies and infants. Our RHA Health Enrollment team will be available on October 28th to assist with TennCare redetermination, enrollment, and finding low-cost and affordable healthcare options.   • Certified Labor Doula Scholarships RHA is offering scholarships to 20 rural women to complete certified labor doula training. While anyone can apply, we are especially hoping to identify women in the Upper Cumberland area who have experience as TennCare members. Applicants may be employed full-time, part-time, or unemployed, as many rural communities have low volumes of pregnancy. Find more information here.
