Findhelp and Rural Health Association of Tennessee to Partner with TennCare to Address Non-Medical Risk Factors of Tennesseans

Rural Health Association of Tennessee (RHA) is proud to announce it has been awarded a sub-contract from Findhelp as part of TennCare's Health Starts Initiative.



As part of Rural Health Association of Tennessee's commitment to improving care coordination between hospitals, clinics, mental and behavioral health, and community-based organizations, RHA will provide community engagement and technical assistance support in the adoption of the closed-loop referral system with Findhelp. Murray County Recovery Fest

The goal of the Recovery Fest is reducing stigma and promoting prevention within our community as a means of decreasing substance use and mental health disorders. On September 23rd from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm CDT, we'll be at Columbia Riverwalk Park for an afternoon of family fun featuring food, music, children's games, and more. 

There will be resources and informational booths with experts and professionals from a variety of fields to help change the trajectory of substance abuse and mental health in our community. More info here.

National Suicide Prevention Month  

Suicide remains a prominent cause of mortality in the United States. This September we ask our fellow Tennesseans to dedicate time to acquiring the knowledge needed to identify and support those who may be vulnerable to suicide or self-harm.

  • Telehealth Training for Mental Health Professionals This free online training shares best practices in telehealth for behavioral health and suicide prevention. Each Zoom session is open to all mental health industry professionals and qualifies for continuing education clock hours. Trainings can be found here.
