• TAADAS WRAP Training WRAP aims to teach participants how to implement the key concepts of recovery in their daily lives, identify and understand their wellness resources, create advance directives to guide family members or supporters when their involvement is required, and develop individualized post-crisis plans. • Using Mobile Health to Reduce Disparities in Black Maternal Health: Perspectives from Black Rural Postpartum Mothers In this study funded by the Morehouse School of Medicine, researchers interviewed Black mothers, their support persons, and health care providers in rural Georgia to learn about their post-birth experiences. To read the full article, click here.

• CMS Approves TennCare III Amendment The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved a significant amendment to Tennessee’s Medicaid Waiver, TennCare III, aimed at enhancing healthcare access and support for TennCare members. For more information, click here.

• Higher Risk of Melanoma-Related Deaths for Patients Residing in Rural Counties: A Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program Study This study analyzes the persistence of the rural mortality penalty related to melanoma cancer using data to examine disease characteristics, incidence, and mortality rates, with breakdowns by race/ethnicity, income, and rural versus urban location.
