On Deck with Samantha Peck
WORH Rural Hospitals & Clinics Program Manager
Flex news:
Since receiving our Notice of Award for Flex, we’ve been hard at work with our procurement team getting our contracts ironed out to bring you programming that is relevant, workshops that are worthwhile, and opportunities that have deep impact on improvements in rural health!
You may have already started your application for one of three Direct-to-Hospital grants available this year. Please follow the directions on our website and reach out if you have any questions. We will be awarding multiple grants in each category, so please make sure you apply! Applications are due by October 24th.
We have also been working with several contractors to offer more programming without the paperwork. In the next few weeks, there will be an opportunity for a new cohort of hospitals to join the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Swing Bed Program, as well as various workshops and educational opportunities coming up throughout the year.
SHIP news:
All SHIP contracts have now been sent to hospitals for signature. Please return signed contracts back to RSP as soon as possible. If you selected the HCAHPS vendor option for SHIP, you can send invoices as soon as you have a fully executed contract and don’t have to wait until the end of the SHIP year.
