What's Happening at Russell Main Street?

Sound on Downtown is ready to rock and roll! We have the speakers ordered and will be scheduling a date for installation as soon as possible, hoping for the weather to cooperate. If you are interested in donating, give us a call 785-483-2897. Tax deductible donations are available upon request.

Revitalize Russell is continuing to make strides. The final plans for the Downtown Restroom and Visitors Center have been drafted. The lot has been cleared and ground prepared. The committee's next step is securing a contractor for the build. This week the committee will work to construct a Request for Bids. After bids are received a contractor will be selected and building will begin. Donations for the project are still being accepted, send your tax deductible donation to 207 E. 8th Street, Russell, KS 67665, made payable to Russell Pride Inc.

Barb Scheck won Santa with button #35, she purchased her button from Woelk's House of Diamonds! Barb bought 4 buttons and lucky for her one of the numbers was drawn on Saturday.

Prairie Brass Quintet at Russell's Weihnachtsfest

Russell Regional Hospital COVID-19 Testing

TourHealth will continue the free COVID testing in Russell through January 31st on a schedule of Monday-Wednesday-Thursday- and Friday. The drive thru style process is South of the RRH Specialty Clinic at 222 S. Kansas. There is no fee, no referral requirement, no symptom requirement and no residency requirement. Testing is free and confidential. To schedule an appointment, go to https://web.getgov2go.com. Appointments are not required. RRH cannot make the appointment for clients as we are the testing site and not the provider. Testing is from 8:30am-4:30pm on the above mentioned days.

Grain Sorghum Marketing Workshop

The City of Russell Fire Department Gun Raffle

The City of Russell Fire Department is hosting a 9 Gun Giveaway to raise funds for the department. Tickets are $50 each. 500 total tickets are being sold.

Tickets are available from any City of Russell Firefighter or by call their office at 483-7111.

The drawings will be held on January 27 at 6 PM on Facebook.
