FOUN EMERGENCY RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR U.S. ASSISTANCE TO UKRAINE
Ever since Russia invaded and occupied Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation's Friends of Ukraine Network (FOUN) has developed and published annual Recommendations for U.S. Assistance to Ukraine.

Annually these recommendations have been published, shared and discussed broadly with government officials in both the Executive and Legislative Branches while Congress develops the annual State Department authorization and appropriations bills as well as the National Defense Authorization Act and defense appropriations.

However, given Russia's current aggressive and unacceptable military and other behavior, its demands and threats immediate action is required to deter Putin.

There must be bold and immediate action - even before any further talks, negotiations and bilateral visits of any kind.

Time is of the essence.
