Dear Colleagues,
The Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance is pleased to share its 2024 newsletter about the Blockchain and Fintech Program.
In May 2024, the Program, together with Sidley Austin, organized and co-hosted a major symposium. Professors Eakeley and Guseva participated in the fireside chat with Commissioner of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Caroline D. Pham. The symposium also featured Commissioner of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Kristin N. Johnson. Professor Guseva, the Director of the Program, participated on The Role of SROs in FinTech: It’s Not Just About the SEC and the CFTC panel.
Together with Sidley Austin, we presented the Token Disclosure Guidelines at the Symposium. This major disclosure initiative now proceeds under the leadership of Global DCA. We are pleased to participate in this project and serve on the Steering and Advisory Committees together with other leading scholars and industry leaders. The Guidelines are published for public comment here.
We are pleased to share forthcoming and published articles and blogposts, including:

Generously supported by the University Blockchain Research Initiative, the Program will continue to conduct multidisciplinary blockchain and fintech research, as well as curricular and project-based activities.
