Rutgers NJ Medical School Chosen as a Site for COVID-19 Vaccine Clinical Trial

The New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) in Newark has been selected by biotechnology firm Moderna as one of more than 90 sites across the United States to recruit adult volunteers for the COVID-19 vaccine trial -- known as the COVE Study -- that will test the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine in approximately 30,000 participants nationwide. The COVE Study is being conducted at NJMS and University Hospital in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health. More.
