The Future of Work is Diverse, Inclusive, Just and Equitable
GlobalMindED closes the equity gap by creating a capable, diverse talent pipeline through connections to role models, mentors, internships for low-income students, returning adults, First Gen to college and inclusive leaders who teach them, work with them and hire them.

Rx for Resilience: Ayuda
"Ayuda" - help
Hurricane Fiona moved along the Atlantic Coast this week. This devastating hurricane left Puerto Rico in ruin for the second time in just a few years. The Southern and Central regions of Puerto Rico were battered with rain, wind and flooding as Hurricane Fiona left much of Puerto Rico without power. Those who are lucky have access to a generator, but many do not. Thankfully, many now have power back; however, the destruction from flooding has left many communities isolated and completely devastated.
This Sunday during Hispanic Heritage month, we invite you to help support our neighbors in Puerto Rico. The rain has caused severe flooding in various cities around the island, making roads impassable and dangerous. What is causing the most concern is the risk of landslides due to the rainfall.
There are numerous relief efforts already started to help aid in the healing and reconstruction that will occur in the wake of Hurricane Fiona. Five years ago, Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico. Since then, the island has been working to rebuild their fragile infrastructure and to modernize their electrical grid. Now, most of these projects have been set back as the island struggles to recover from Hurricane Fiona.
"FEMA deployed one national and four regional Incident Management Teams and two Urban Search and Rescue teams to augment the hundreds of FEMA personnel on the ground. The additional staff will help bolster the Government of Puerto Rico’s response efforts." Along with this effort, you can join in supporting the Puerto Rican community. Check out this extensive list of organizations working to address needs in Puerto Rico and consider donating to support some.
We send our thoughts, prayers and hope to the Puerto Rican community who have time and time again proven their resilience and heroism. To those able to donate, please help support the relief efforts in place and join in the mission to rebuild a stronger Puerto Rican infrastructure.
Estamos contigo, Puerto Rico, con todos nuestros fuerzos para aguantarles hoy y siempre.
