As we enter into fall and settle into cooler times, we hope you all can find time to reflect, rest and reset today. For our Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, we are diving deeper into the vast, diverse, colorful cultures of various "comunidades latinas".

As we have previously mentioned, those who identify as a part of the "cultura latina" make up over 62 million people in the United States. However, this culture is not defined by one group of peoples, but includes a large number of countries from around the world, spanning three different continents. "La cultura latina" is marked with joyous, upbeat music, colorful creations and riquísima foods and recipes bringing your tastebuds to life. Join us today in celebrating all the cultures that make up the latino heritage and take time to broaden your own horizon!

  • Mexican recipes to try - amp up your taco game!
  • Peruvian recipes to try - like the delicious lomo saltado!
  • Argentine recipes to try - be sure to try some dulce de leche desserts!
  • Spanish recipes to try - you can never have too many potatoes!
  • Follow various latino/a leaders on social media
  • Here are 100 Latinas you all should be following and reading about
  • Support an organization promoting Latinos/as in your community
  • GlobalMindED is a proud partner of the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Biennial of The Americas
  • Donate to Hurricane Ian relief in Puerto Rico, Cuba and Florida
  • Here are some organization leading relief efforts: Global Giving and Red Cross
  • Volunteer in your community with a Latino-owned organization
  • Reflect on ways in which you can create a more inviting and safe community for your latino neighbors
