Rx for Resilience: Taking Stock

As December comes to a close, the idea of taking stock is a powerful way to reflect on the year behind us by pausing to look honestly at what we have learned and how we have grown. Acknowledge both joy and difficulty and release what no longer serves you. Taking stock can be an act of care, offering space to wrap up the year with calm, understanding, and gratitude. Honoring personal and collective experiences with clarity reminds us that even challenging moments hold lessons that prepare us for the future while making us stronger to take on any obstacle in the year ahead. 

Without context clues, it is often impossible to distinguish between a sunrise and a sunset. Both cast warm, glowing light across the sky, paint clouds with brilliant colors, and slowly change the world around us. This simple truth reminds us of the power of reflection and perspective in our lives. Just as the sky can look the same at the start or end of a day, our experiences can take on new meaning depending on how we choose to see them. As we move into a new year and set our dreams and goals for that in the days ahead, be grateful for your own growth, your many blessings, and embrace the gifts that are yours to create, experience, and share in 2026.
