BACK-TO-BACK STATE CHAMPION

Avery Williams from Goddard HS in Roswell, won the State Championship for Class A-4A girls. She dominated the bracket, winning all the sets she

competed in, with most of her competitors only winning 1 game. Avery was

graciously saying her competitors were all great players, and becoming the

State champion was exhilarating and a great way to end her high school

career!

Avery is off to college in the fall, but Zoey Williams, her sister, will still be

competing in state championships, as she came in fourth place this year, and

won first place in tennis doubles with her sister Avery last year!

Roswell acknowledges the achievements of the Williams Sisters and

anticipates watching for more tennis accomplishments!
