Celebrating 30 years

The Southwick Croyden Neighbourhood celebrated 30 years in the neighbourhood with a community potluck!

The event included music, yummy food and a slideshow with highlights from the past 30 years. They even received a celebration certificate from Mayor McCabe!

This event was supported by an operating grant, which helps neighbourhood groups and events that have operated for two years or more.

Summer solstice campfire

Last month, the Lakeshore South Community Association planned a Summer Solstice event to celebrate the summer season with the help of a mini grant.

The event included a community campfire and neighbours enjoyed s'mores, games, music and prizes.

Would you like to host a fun gathering in your neighbourhood this summer? Consider applying for a mini grant!
