The best virtual summer squash camp ever is now only 4 days away!!! The S2 coaching staff have collectively adapted our award winning methodology and integrated intodigital coaching curriculum for the whole month of June!
Phase 3 was great success, with hard work and a great sense of community as over 30 kids assembled almost every day to work out and prepare for their return to squash!
Zoom info and camp specifics will be emailed individually to each participant on the Sunday prior, with a progress report from the previous week. Break out ‘Zoom rooms’ will be used to accelerate learning and personalize detail. You can read more here and email Paulor Lyall with questions.
The format will follow 6 daily segments: physiological profiling, psychology work-shopping, biomechanical breakdown, skill development, mobility and nutrition. The camp is 80% practical, 20% tutorial, with 30-45 minute blocks targeted specifically toward physical, mental and skill self development.
We are aware that many S2ozzies have already constructed temporary at-home courts in their garages, outdoor walls, and basements, which we will be incorporating for use in our summer camp activities. For those of you who are interested in building a temporary court at home we have the basic “how-to” guide in the link below.
We will be conducting daily skill work activities with racket and ball for class participants, with options to break out into other activities if your home court is not completed yet or if you have space considerations.
