THE NEW DIRECTOR OF SACC-DC

Anna Wramner is the new Executive Director of SACC-DC. She has a background in Swedish and European politics, journalism, and business communication and spent nine years in Chicago before relocating to DC in 2022.

The new Director is eager to get started and feels excited about being on board.

- I am happy to be part of such a dynamic group of professionals, our skilled interns, our very active and supportive Board of Directors, as well as our extensive network and thriving business community. We have an exciting year ahead of us, with elections both here in the US and in Europe. We will have several opportunities to discuss this, as well as how this may affect Swedish - American business relations.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW INTERNS

JOHAN LUNDQVIST AND ULRIKA HENRIKSSON

Johan Lundqvist joined the SACC-DC team in January 2024 as a Business Associate Intern. He soon holds a master's in business law from the University of Linkoping and before arriving in Washington D.C, he finished a law internship at the Swedish fintech company Zimpler AB. Just before the law internship, Johan went on an exchange Semester in Hong Kong, where he furthered his knowledge of international business law and was active in the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Johan loves to network and meet new people so don't hesitate to reach out to him, he is always up for a coffee! 

Ulrika holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Communication from the University of Linkoping, specializing in communication and management. With 1.5 years of experience as a consultant in digital marketing and project management at a marketing firm, she has honed her skills and developed an interest in communication and marketing strategies.

With the aspiration to gain further knowledge in marketing and business development, and explore American culture in a professional setting, Ulrika found the ideal fit in SACC-DC. She is excited to blend creativity with strategy, delving into the realms of marketing, business relations, and American culture.
