Feeling sentimental and excited all at once as I am writing this last newsletter intro. I have had such a great time in Atlanta and I have much to thank all the wonderful people I have met through SACC-Georgia for that. I am leaving Atlanta with a lot of good memories! With that being said, I am thrilled to hand over the Executive Director role to Ida Pond! Ida has been involved in the Swedish community in Atlanta for many years and is eager to continue to grow the Chamber and membership. Welcome Ida to the SACC-Georgia team!

LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ISSUES AND INTERCULTURAL BEHAVIOR

Danish-American Chamber of Commerce
in Georgia and
Barnes & Thornburg LLP
welcomes everyone to a dual-topic event and a chance to expand your international network. The topics of the evening are
Labor and Employment Issues and Intercultural Behavior
. The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with light refreshments and an opportunity to create new relations, followed by interesting speakers and a panel discussion on the topics.

October 25th-26th, SACC Summit was being held in Houston, Texas and featured the theme Sustainable Success – Business through renewable energy and sustainable recycling. Representing SACC-Georgia was our very own Chairwoman Christina Searles Tai. It was a truly inspiring event, listening to leading innovators and companies, entrepreneurs and academics from the U.S. and Sweden, as well as networking and sharing insights with other chambers of the SACC-USA network.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORKING DRINK
|

Together with other international chambers here in Georgia, a joint Young Professionals Networking Drink was being held on October 11th at Monday Night Brewing in West Midtown. Except for a brewery tour and beer tasting, the night also involved lots of mingling and networking among members of the Belgian, British, Danish, Dutch, French, German & Swedish business community. We definitely look forward to the next Young Professionals event!
