Our Lucia Gala is back this year! Buy your tickets here. Our Annual Lucia is a premium event usually gathering members, partners, as well as local and national officials within the Swedish-American community in Georgia and the Southeast. We thank our sponsors for their support of this event.

This weekend you have an opportunity to see two lucia performances at the SWEA Christmas Market. The holiday shopper will find unique Swedish crafts and gifts at the vendor tables such as Swedish home-baked goods, Swedish chocolates and candy, traditional and modern handicrafts, Swedish gift items, used books written in Swedish, and so much more. 

Nordic Lodge #708 presents its Lucia celebration on December 11 at 6:00 pm. This candlelit, music-filled celebration features traditional and contemporary Swedish Christmas music. The evening will feature the St. Lucia choir, composed of children, women and men from the local Swedish-American community.

The talented Mia Peters conducts all the Lucia Performances.

SACC SUMMIT 2022
On November3-4 SACC-USA held their annual meetings and SACC Summit in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This year’s theme was “The Future of….” as explored in panel discussions on security, the green transition and electromobility, innovation and entrepreneurship.

A warm thank you to all speakers, sponsors, SACC chambers, business partners and participants who made the events a success. Thank you also to H.R.M. Princess Madeleine of Sweden for taking the time to join us for parts of the events, it was a true honor to have you present.

Next year’s annual meetings and SACC Summit conference take place in Detroit in connection with the auto show in September.
