I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Our June 6 celebration always kicks off the summer season for our chamber. This year's celebration was co-hosted by Axis Communications on the rooftop of their building. Axis communications is a Swedish network technology company and industry leader. Axis offers solutions in video surveillance, access control, intercom, and audio systems. A visit to the Axis Experience Center in Atlanta is a unique opportunity to find out how you can get the most out of their innovations for a smarter, safer world.

Please save the dates September 13-15, 2023, on your calendars. SACC Detroit is this year's host of the annual SACC Summit. This year´s Summit will highlight the automation and digital manufacturing and will be held in connection to the North America International Auto Show, NAIAS.

Jiyoon Choi joined Aprio as the ESG Tax lead, to assist clients in aligning their ESG goals with their tax strategies. Prior to joining Aprio, Jiyoon was a manager at a Big 4 firm where she gained extensive experience in federal, state, and international tax compliance and planning. Jiyoon holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University – Bloomington.

 
 
Devyser Grand Opening
SACC GA member Devyser has inaugurated its CLIA-certified laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia. The laboratory will offer clinical test services for hereditary diseases, oncology, and post-transplant monitoring. The laboratory has already processed its first commercial test, examining a patient sample for fetal Rhesus D blood group status.  Read more here.
