Families Supporting Families
Hallo SAGA Community,

We hope you are staying healthy and are practicing good distancing as we wait for normal life to resume. We appreciate all of the support, patience, and positive feedback we have received from our community. We want to share some resources and services to help support our families and friends during this unprecedented time.

"Families Helping Families" Web Page

It is important to us that we maintain a sense of community and support among SAGA families and friends even while we cannot physically come together. We have created a "Families Helping Families" web page to provide some information and resources to our community so we can help support each other remotely. This page offers:
  • information regarding financial resources
  • food support services information
  • ways to keep working while your children are at home
  • talking to kids and coping with stress
  • a platform to trade resources
  • and surviving and thriving with home school.

Northwest Harvest Food Support Service

Could your family benefit from food support services? Please fill out this form (Northwest Harvest Support) so that SAGA can get a better idea of the needs of our community. Your responses will be held in confidence and will be shared only with the support team organizing the food support services.

Trading Resources

If you are in need of resources or services, or are able to offer support or resources to fellow SAGA families, please let us know in this form. Some ideas to consider:

  • German books, music, shows
  • Video chats for kids
  • Running essential errands
  • Other ideas?

This is a time like no other where we need to come together and provide support networks that were perhaps not necessary before. Let us know if you have ideas for other ways that SAGA families can support one another.
