SAGA Laternenfest!
MONDAY, November 7 @ 6:30 p.m.
The SAGA School invites you to this family-friendly German tradition. We celebrate St. Martin's Day by singing the traditional songs and strolling with homemade "Laternen." Meet us at the corner of Fremont Ave N and N 110th St, which is 4 blocks east of SAGA's main building. We will walk a loop down Fremont Ave N through the neighborhood and back to the field, where we will gather and sing. Bring your lanterns, flashlights, and/or headlamps. The walk happens rain or shine, so make sure to dress appropriately! Children will walk for a while so please ensure they have good walking shoes, or bring a wagon. Hot chocolate and Weckmaenner will be available afterwards. Donations accepted.
A Few Reminders!
- No parking in neighbors' driveways
- No parking close to intersections
- You may park at SAGA and walk to the gathering spot
- Parents are responsible for their family members!
