Greetings from the SAGA School!

We hope that you are enjoying your Summer and the wonderful sunny days! Our school is in full swing finishing up our last SAGA Summer Camp next week and preparing for the 2022-23 School Year. Search for Housing

The SAGA School is excited to announce that a number of German interns will join our community during the 2022-23 School Year. Some interns are looking for housing options. If you might know someone who has an extra room and is located within commuting distance to the school, contact Angrid Henning ([email protected]). Most interns will join the school from October 2022 - February 2023. Thank you for your consideration!

Register for SAGA's Programs Supporting German Language Development

Registration for SAGA's 2022-23 Academic Afterschool program is open! The school-aged academic programs are 32 weeks long and are designed to build upon German language skills developed in the home or through SAGA’s immersion program. More information on the website.

Register for SAGA's Preschool Playgroup! The Preschool Playgroup is open to children 2.5 to 5 years of age (designed for preschool through prek) and introduces art, music, games, and food in a fun and relaxed German-language environment. The Playgroup is a drop-off program, so it is a great way for younger children to start building independence! More information here.

SAGA Job Openings

The SAGA School is still looking to fill a couple of staffing positions for the 2022-23 School Year. Do you know someone who enjoys working in early education? Are they excited about contributing to a welcoming community that focuses on German immersion education, creativity, and individualized learning? Please encourage them to email the hiring team at [email protected] to learn about opportunities. (Some positions do not require fluency in the German language.)

Ideal candidates enjoy working with preschool through elementary aged children, work independently, demonstrate compliance with health and safety protocols, and enjoy collaboration. We look forward to hearing from you!
