Liebe SAGA Alumni and friends,

Yesterday, we celebrated "Friendship Day" at SAGA, an opportunity for all of us in the SAGA community to show appreciation for the collective support we receive from and offer to one other—whether in the building or outside of it. Our students and staff received notes of appreciation and flowers, and I'd like to express my own gratitude for all of you, who contribute to the closeness and longevity of our community.

In addition to celebrating SAGA friendships, please join us in our celebration of a staff milestone for Anika Elfi McCulloch (Hahn), who has now been at SAGA for over five years. I'd also like to share with you Anika's promotion to Director of Elementary Education (effective January, 2024). This position is an important role, overseeing day-to-day elementary operations and overall success of the program.

Anika has been a SAGA team member since 2018 as an Elementary Head Teacher, an Elementary Art Teacher, and she has served as Elementary Senior Educator for the last three years. Moving forward, she will continue with her Senior Educator work, and now as Director, will embrace more aspects of the elementary program. We look forward to many years with her in leadership, benefiting from her 15+ years in education, creative ideas, team-oriented approach, and passion for creating learning environments where students can shine.
