Liebe SAGA alumni and friends,

This Friday, we will celebrate "Friendship Day" at SAGA. This is an opportunity for us to appreciate the importance of friendship of all kinds in our daily lives and in the "big tent" of our special community! Following Friendship Day, we take our mid-winter break (perhaps some of you have special trips or events planned?). Upon our return, we quickly shift our gaze to various SAGA spring events, many of which are open to the public. We welcome you and your friends and family!

In particular, we hope you'll join us at our annual Kinderfasching celebration (costume party for children and families) as well as at our annual German and English language book fair. Read more about these events and other news below!

Kinderfasching Tickets

SAGA Kinderfasching

March 1, 2–5pm,

SAGA Festhalle

Join us for SAGA's annual Kinderfasching celebration! Enjoy a costume party for children of all ages with music, games, crafts, food and drinks, and entertainment! Space is limited; purchase your tickets today (link below)!

Tickets: $13 (online) or $15 at the door, cash or credit (children <2 years free). Incl. entertainment, crafts, a donut, and drinks.

Spring and Summer Camps

Looking for fun and educational ways to engage your child during school breaks?

Camps are open to children ages 30 mos.–10 years. German immersion program, but no prior German experience required.

All camps 9am-1/3pm daily

SAGA Book Fair

Get out your bookmarks! SAGA is excited to host this year's book fair (English and German books). In person at times below, or shop online that entire week.

Book donations? We also welcome gently-used, German language children's book donations. Please drop off at the SAGA front desk by Friday, 3/7.

First Day of 2025-26 School Year

We're excited to announce that the first day of the next (2025-26) school year will be August 28, 2025.

As always, we will hold a Meet-the-Teacher event for enrolled daytime students and their families on the day before, August 27, 2025 (time TBD).
