Liebe SAGA Alumni and Friends,
As we finally leave the snow and icy weather in the rearview mirror (it was a doozy this year!), I'm excited to be in touch about the spring and all we've done and look forward to.
Thank you to those of you who joined us for our annual Kinderfasching celebration and German/English Book Fair. It always makes me appreciate SAGA's unique ability to offer cultural and German language events in our region. I loved watching folks originally from German-speaking countries smile as they discovered German books that they, themselves, devoured as children, or their delight watching their own kids tuck into a traditional Krapfen at Kinderfasching! Such opportunities are rare in the United States and I'm honored we can help nourish those cultural connections.
Coming up: we hope to see you at our upcoming spring party and fundraiser, SAGA Fest 2025 on May 10th (adults only, lots of ways to support / get involved!) Ticketing to open soon, please watch your inboxes. In June, we'll throw on our Sounders gear and cheer on the home team at our annual SAGA at the Sounders event on June 1st. Get your tickets below!
