Prepare for DART Rail Tunnel Closure and Bus Frequency Change
If you plan to ride DART this month, be prepared some temporary changes.
Earlier this month, DART bus routes adjusted the frequency of 31 of its 97 bus routes. This temporary change does not impact Plano’s six bus routes and six GoLink zones. However, if you travel beyond our city limits, check the DART trip planner or dart.org/servicechange to make sure your connecting routes have not changed.
Thursday through Sunday, June 23-26, DART is repairing concrete on the elevated station at Park Lane Station and replacing a section of rail north of SMU/Mockingbird Station. Light rail passengers will be carried by charter buses around the closed stations to the nearest open station. Orange and Red Line riders should add extra time for travel, especially between the Parker Road and DFW Airport Stations. Use the DART trip planner for instructions. If you have specific questions, call DART at 214-979-1111 or review DART's website details.
