Saints Choir Team visit Disneyland
for a magical performance
The Magic of Disney Really Came Alive as "Our Kids" Took the Main Stage at California Adventures Theme Park... Their Performance was Magically Enjoyable! The crowd, if measured by the quality, enjoyment and applause was off the charts! As park attendees passed by it was evident by the turning their heads and attention to the professional and stunning performance - they were listening for sure. It was a nothing less than a fantastic unscheduled treat for park guests . As "Our Kids" sang their hearts out the crowd got louder and more responsive, "Our "Kid's" smiles responded in kind. Most importantly, the smiles and quality of sound evidenced the hard work that Cathy and Lori put forth thus far - and it's only November for goodness sake! It's always enjoyable and satisfying to tell Cathy, Lori and "Our Kids" how PROUD we are of them because they are AMAZING!
Saints Theatre Arts students see AUBERGINE @ South Coast Repertory Theater
Santa Ana High School’s Theatre Arts students went and saw AUBERGINE by Julia Cho at South Coast Repertory Theater. Thirteen freshmen saw their first ever live theatrical production tonight and they were not disappointed with this beautiful story of food, family, culture, memory, life and death. My favorite moment was when, during intermission, the usher asked me if they were “my kids” and I said yes. She followed with, “they’re beautiful.” She went out of her way to tell the management how amazing our kids were as audience members.
A beautiful night of theater and, she’s right, these kids are beautiful.
Saint Tony Gomez travels to Philadelphia
Congratulations Tony Gomez in being picked to attend Am Vet sponsored trip last week to Philadelphia. He states he played Supreme Court Justice on a Moot Court case involving the firing of a cross dressing worker in a customer service industry by a religious employer. Tony will be litigating this Thursday as a Defense Attorney. Tony has an impressive resume between NJROTC, EGMLSA, Internship at Fisher & Philips last summer and a reserved spot with US Congressman Correa in Spring. He promises to share photos. Saints Water Polo finish season Ranked 4th
Santa Ana High School m arks Water Polo as Strength of " Saint Nation " Ending Season as 4th Rated in CIF Division 7...
Coach Maer and his H20 "scholar-athletes" worked year-round to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Both on campus and in schools around Southern California, they have earned the respect of water polo enthusiasts as well as those who appreciate the skill, talent and dedication it takes to be recognized in the sphere of both Water Polo and Swimming. Coach Maers made it a point to say, " If you think we were good this year - wait until next year!"
Saints Football Season ends
" Saints " End 2019-20 Football season with loss to Wolverines 21-6...
Coach "T's" Young " Saints ," end season in First Round of Post Season CIF Playoffs in their 5th consecutive year of post season, CIF Play. With More Experience and veteran starters, no doubt, the score would have been different. However, the younger student-athletes, certainly set the stage for a bright Future moving forward...
With a final score of - 21, Aliso Niguel High School's, "Wolverines," and 6 for the Santa Ana High School , " Saints ," it was a most entertaining and competitive contest - Great job!
With a young team this year, after losing 4 seniors that left Santa Ana High School last year to join Division 1 Football Programs, the " Saints " experienced a year of rebuilding and growth, while preparing one day to become a high-powered Championship team. With the experience gained this past year more hard work and focused intentionality, Coach "Ts" student- athletes look forward to joining together next year with two freshmen teams that earned championship status for the past two years. This year's " Saints " gave it their all and that's all anyone can ask. Considering that most teams ended their season, last week - " Saint Nation " is PROUD of "Our Kids!" Win or Lose! Coach T ended his post game comments telling his young men that he was "PROUD of them" and that, he "loved them!" Regardless of today's loss - " Saint Nation " is extremely proud of "Our Kids!" They are AMAZING
