Coaching off the field
Coaching Staff Not Done at End of CIF Season....
" Saint " Coaching Staff Work Harder in the Off Season. Every kid, desirous of playing while going on to University, or Junior College, has the opportunity because of the work being done to place "Our Kids" in a good place to continue to live their dream and go to college under scholarship conditions. The best part, is... "Our Kids" continue to represent the community, SAUSD, Santa Ana High School , their Families, and most importantly - themselves in the spectacular way! Thank you Coaches for building young scholars beyond the football field.
Saint Freshmen Mentors
Ivan and Reylee
Ivan, Basketball Player, Musician, Scholar, and Freshmen Mentor and Reylee, Softball Player, Scholar and Freshman Mentor, serve as "Freshmen, Saints ", and "Peer Mentors, throughout the year. The students are trained by, " Saint " teacher and driver of the "Freshmen Mentoring Program" (FMP) at Santa Ana High School . - Tamra Deitviller. Both students, held "Our Kids" attention for the entire time spent providing advice about how to be successful during the upcoming mid-year finals. Answering questions, providing preparation tips and positive relationships, the students who participated, walked away, maybe a little bit more comfortable and less nervous about the future. So proud of the two amazing mentors, Kyle and Ivan.
Sweet Saintly Voices
A Week Full of Holiday Cheer, Instrumental, Orchestra, Mariachi,
and All That Jazz...
Ends With a Beautiful Choir Performance With Both Present and Past, " Saints ."
Before a packed Bill Medly Auditorium, attendees listen to Christmas and Holiday Music that one would normally pay, lots, if the same performance occurred at the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center. The spirit, excitement resonated as the crowd was invited to sing along during the performance. After each level of Cathy and Lori's Freshman thru Senior students, sang their hearts out, the alumnus " Saints" were invited to join "Our Kids" on stage for a couple of seasonal songs - Wow! The entire night was fantastic, entertaining and a perfect ending to a week full of talented musicians and singers.
8 week Parent workshop a success
What a GREAT Night! Ms. Grace and Ms Lori, providing parents both love and parent development. Add lots of food, a "servant's heart" and miracles occur. It's their voice, confidence and sense of ownership that will begin to change the narrative, both at home at at school! After 8 weeks of attending a parent training, not only are "Our Parents" walking away with additional strategies, but with the confidence that these proven strategies are solid and based in research. The most important part is that they developed parent-to -parent friendships and supports for each other in their quest to become even better at parenting. They walked away last night knowing they too are loved and honored as part of a family and " Saint Nation !"
Winter music concert unites and warms
The Duration Quality Complicity, Clean, Technical, and Endurance... and Chops Were Well Trained and Exact!
Tonight's 3rd combined concert featuring - Willard, Heninger K-8 and the " Saint Bands " was SPECTACULAR!
The packed Bill Medley Auditorium evidenced what a focused and consistent effort to build something extraordinary has seeded. Central Santa shines brighter because of a vision, follow- through consistency and a vision shared by " Saint Nation ," Heninger K-12 and Willard intermediate, and many others not participating tonight. A Board of Education, Cabinet, and Visual and Performing Arts Professional continue to "Prove What's Possible!" DO NOT STOP!!!
