Santa Ana Unified School District, Heninger K-8 and Santa Ana High School has a unique and authentic friendship with Mr. Liu, Ms. Kate and the Educational Experimental and International Schools in the Tianjing Region of China. Under the leadership of Superintendent, Mr. Liu and principals like Madame Wong, Principal Skelly, Victor de Los Santos and myself, deepened the relationship with our Chinese friends the past 9 days. Traveling to various regions of China and digging into areas less traveled by the typical tourist, such as the "Old City" in Guilen, Guangchou, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the culture, customs and habits pressed against our own comfort level, but proved our own ability to adapt and conform. From toilets, travel and desserts, required a different way of thinking and appreciation of things that are not our own "normal." China is beautiful in many aspects. The customs are respectful and the large mass of people amazingly peaceful and welcoming. The geographic backdrop is "second to none!" Even more beautiful is the relationship between our Chinese friends in Tianjing and " Saint Nation ." Our honorary " Saints " will join us once again in July in the rich and beautiful City of Santa Ana in the Santa Ana Unified School District at Santa Ana High School and Heninger K-8.

Halos Update! Halos keeps doing their thing by providing Santa Ana High School students with a wide range of resources such as: resume building workshops, team builder activities, mental health awareness, and all under the guidance of our hard working Halos staff. This year’s summer camp is an INVESTMENT to “set the tone” for another strong school year for Halos . More great things to come!

Community fills Santa Ana High School Gymnasium For Culmination of Music Camp...

Students from all over the City of Santa Ana, convene at Santa Ana High School for a culmination of Musical Excellence. Elementary school and middle school learn to appreciate, value and enjoy the gift of music after a few weeks of "Music Camp." You can't help but to think where the music prowess, expertise and talent will measure after now, three years, of introducing hundreds and hundreds of students to the performing arts.

One Program Stands Taller in Service, Trainings, and Competitions...

Santa Ana High School's Navy NJROTC Program, which has been named a "Distinguished Unit" for the 19th year in a row... and there is a reason why! NJROTC Cadets continue to provide service to the community, open ceremonies and celebrations throughout the Summer and train hard to certify in various skills and important youth and leadership development - YEAR ROUND. The cadets just finished another 3-day "Swim Survival Training" on the grounds of Camp Pendelton - these " Saint " Cadets go year-round and serve both as great role models and leaders on campus every day and are " Saint " Community Servants throughout the school year.

NJROTC will have meetings and practices July 8-11,1:00 PM-2:30 PM

July 29-August 2, 1:00 PM-2:30 PM.

And... "Our Kids" Keep Serving as Role Models and Shining Brightly in the Community. "They Will Know They Are Saints By Their Love, Class and Positive Attitudes."
