It’s a Halos thing! 
Santa Ana High School's very own Halos After School Program kick starts their summer season with a field trip to the LA Zoo. As a commitment to students, Halos prides themselves in making sure they provide Saints with experiences beyond the city and all based on student voice. Halos Student Leadership is gearing up for summer camp by gathering 65 SAHS students (9th-12th) to carry out a process where Halos Staff and Student Leaders will game plan what the 2019-20 school year will look like and set the tone for another awesome year. Halos are creators of safe spaces and will continue to work hard in service of SAHS students because it’s the Way of the Saints!

Marching Saints perform at Santa Ana College Commencement 
Just When You Thought it Was Over, You figured Out it Wasn't...
Both band director, Victor De los Santos and his award-winning Marching Saints were representing Santa Ana High School at Santa Ana College's Commencement at the SA City Bowl. Considering the large numbers who were graduating from the notable excellence of SAC, it was only appropriate that the Marching " Saints ," provided the musical numbers during the ceremony. To make even better, SAUSD Board Member and " Saint " alumnus, Dr. Alfonso Alvarez, was right there honoring all the students in SAUSD and all of "Our Kids" he knows personally. Between Board Member Alvarez, Victor De los Santos and our talented " Saint " Musicians, the "Dons" of Santa Ana College could be confident in that the Commencement was Another Example of the Opportunity and Excellence that Exists at Santa Ana High School/College on a Daily Basis...

Way of the Saints Incoming 9th grade bridge program
"Our Deepest Fear"
Highlights the 2nd Day of Santa Ana High School's, " Way of the Saints " Incoming 9th Grade Institute...
Besides encouraging "Our Kids" to memorize the poem, "Our Deepest Fear," by Marianne Williamson,
to be able to compete in Wednesday's poem recital competition , the following themes were addressed today: "Change your words, change your world," "It's the little things that count," Do NOT let others define who you are," "We are only as strong as our weakest link,' "We Accept EVERYONE, in spite of our own beliefs and perspective," Our core values at SAHS - AIRR ( Acceptance, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility ) and getting used to responding
when called on as a " Non-volunteer." Only after the second day, I have great hope and anticipation for the Class of 2023! When you have the staff, heart, passion for education, vision, and role models and mentors like the staff I do - "We will continue to grow and "Prove What's Possible," while uncovering many more Examples of the Opportunity and Excellence that Exists at Santa Ana High School on a Daily Basis ...
Girls Empowerment Camp
Girls Empowerment Camp (GEC) is a free two-day camp open to teens ages 14-18 that introduces them to the fire service and provides campers with a realistic, hands-on overview of firefighting. The camp exposes the teens to all aspects of a fire service career beginning with requirements. The program also empowers campers with life skills and professional guidance that encourages them to pursue a career in public safety. The camp is being held at the
Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) Training Center .
