A Big Turn out for Coffee talk with the Principal
BIG Turnout, New Faces, Smiles, Family, Care,
Concern, and a Whole Lotta Love...
I'm not going to lie - One of my most FAVORITE THINGS to do, is Welcome new parents to the "Family!" As I always say, "WE are here for YOU. YOU are not here for US!" Together, we can create the "Ultimate Form of Art - Your son's and daughter's lives!" I'm excited to know that 85 more parents are working together with US for "Our Kids" SUCCESS and being their best selves. Think of the possibilities. Think about the beauty we can create, in spite of those that thrive on negativity and hopelessness. I made it clear -NO ONE CAN TALK BAD ABOUT SANTA ANA HIGH SCHOO because WE ARE SANTA ANA HIGH SCHOOL! It's not the buildings, grounds, 130 year history of EXCELLENCE - IT'S "OUR KIDS" SITTING IN THOSE SEATS EVERY DAY!" I just know that this coming year is going to the absolute best after meeting even more WONDERFUL and CARING MOMS AND DADS.... You can imagine how I felt when I was able to walk them through our new library and "SanArts" Building. Can you imagine what our parents thought when they walked past the glass walls, while their sons and daughters were participating in a 21st Century classroom with 21st Century professional teachers with both smiles and engagement? What a GREAT DAY at Santa Ana High School!!!
"Helping Hands" Club at Santa Ana High School
Student Leaders, like Jada Perez, decided to gather peers on campus that represented both Soccer players and the Cheer Squad members. When students go out of their way to bond with some of our most needy special education population and students that might need friendship and a welcoming offer as a high school student - there is great indication that culture and climate is both improving and trending towards, "Proving What's Possible" and ready for even more Examples of the Opportunity and Excellence that Exists at Santa Ana High School on a Daily Basis...

First Home Football Game of the Year!
"We cannot lose if we learn!" - Coach "T"
Tough Night, Proud Nonetheless...
Santa Ana High School fought lightning Speed, Thunderous Strength, and a "Senior STRONG" Cypress Squad.
Auburn University was present and looking at, Dillon Eldrige. Issac Hurtado, who is the # 1 running back in the county, is being recruited heavily by major universities throughout the nation (11 -BYU has edge) . As the old adage goes, "That which does not kill you, makes you stronger!" I'm proud of "Our Kids" as 4 sophomores, 1 senior) and 6 juniors played tonight) - YOUNG "Saints" are learning as they grow. "Saint" Players like Miguel Vaca, junior, will be unstoppable in the next few years. "Our Kids" are in for a tough pre-season by design, to the end of preparation for a fourth league title.
