Edward James Olmos
Actor and producer,
who has taken on the
task of ensuring that Hispanic-Latino actors, writers, producers, and various other movie industry jobs are fairly and equally distributed to up and coming Hispanic-Latino story-tellers and professionals that are needed in the Arts and Entertainment / Movie Industry. Mr. Olmos’ recent address before the United Nations will be similar to what he has to offer
“Our Kids”
and
“Saint Nation!”

Dr. Stephan Tucker
UCI Professor and Orchestra Conductor, who is responsible for the “second to none” partnership between
Santa Ana High School
and UCI.
“This collaboration has never been about developing musicians, it has always been about developing young people who have been valued and encouraged in a way that they can now see themselves going to college, continuing their education and taking advantage of opportunities. Music is how we are connecting with them, but this is bigger than music,” said Dr. Stephen Tucker, conductor of the UC Irvine (UCI) Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) Symphony Orchestra.

New Bus Donation and Scholarships from Alumni
|

(RIP)
for your
gift of a BUS -
willed to
Santa Ana High School
prior to your passing in 2018.
Sterling Gordon
, who played on the
“Saint”
Tennis Team, had to beg his parents to drive him up to Brentwood, Los Angeles, to compete in the CIF Tennis Playoffs.
Santa Ana High School
could not afford the cost of transporting
Sterling
to his earned CIF post-season bid. Both
Zoe and Sterling Gordon
, who are painted on the main entrance mural in the foyer of the Bill Medley Auditorium, generously donated
$200,000 exclusively to Santa Ana High School
for the purchase a school bus for the Visual and Performing Arts. Along with this donation of a school bus,
$640,000.00
was willed to the UC Berkeley Foundation for scholarships, exclusively to be given to students who graduate from
Santa Ana High School
.
After five years (now three), if the money is not distributed to
“Saint”
students, the money must be given back to
Santa Ana High School
for the Visual and Performing Arts or Scholarships. The district office will be placing the name of
Santa Ana High School
“Saints”
on the side of the bus to ensure that
“Saint Nation”
is seen all over Santa Ana, County of Orange and beyond… Thank you –
