SAIA ANNOUNCES ASSOCIATION & PROJECT AWARDS
RECIPIENTS AT PRESIDENT'S GALA

KANSAS CITY, MO | October 1, 2019 – The Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) announced the recipients of its annual Association and Project of the Year Awards at the President's Gala, which capped off the 2019 Annual Convention & Exposition in New Orleans last Wednesday night.

SAIA ASSOCIATION AWARDS
These awards recognize members who have contributed their time, devotion, passion, and expertise to the overall growth, mission, and initiatives of the SAIA. These individuals are nominated by their fellow members and voted on by the entire membership.

  • Spirit Award – Matt Morgan, Mdm Scaffolding Services, Inc.
  • Unsung Hero Award – Matt Morgan, Mdm Scaffolding Services, Inc.
  • Outstanding Service Award – Tracy Dutting-Kane, StepUp Scaffold
  • Outstanding Council Chairperson Award – Mike McAnnally, StepUp Scaffold
  • Outstanding Company Contribution Award – Action Equipment & Scaffolding Co., Inc.
  • Coupling Pin – Matt Morgan, Mdm Scaffolding Services, Inc.
  • Hall of Fame Award – Colby Hubler, Power Climber Wind
  • Victor Saleeby Award – Colby Hubler, Power Climber Wind

William T. Ayres Founders Award
This award is bestowed on an SAIA member who has excelled in the recruitment of new members. The 2019 recipient is Cameron Boots, Allied Insurance Brokers.

Accredited Training Institute of the Year Award
This award is bestowed on the ATI that has educated the most students over the course of a year. The recipient for 2019, who trained more than 432 students, is David Johnson of Skyline Scaffold, Inc.

SAIA PROJECT AWARDS
These awards recognize member companies for their work on scaffold and access industry projects in seven different categories. These companies have gone above and beyond to contribute to the success of the project.

AWP/MEWP Project of the Year – Skyline Scaffold, Ltd.

Shoring Project of the Year – PCI Scaffold

SAIA EDUCATION FOUNDATION AWARDS
This award recognizes benefactors for their contributions to the Education Foundation, including direct monetary contributions, gifts donated to auction (sale amount), gifts purchased at auctions, and convention/committee sponsorships. They earn credits toward one of five levels: Diamond ($20,000 contribution), Platinum ($10,000), Gold ($5,000), Silver ($2,500), and Bronze ($1,000). Benefactors for 2018-2019 include:
