SAIL FALL 2023 GRADS 

The Lanier Tech students successfully finished a series of 12 weekly four-hour segments of eight topics curated by local industry leaders. Students learn practical lessons for both work and everyday life.


"Active listening has impacted every aspect of my job and interactions with my team, colleagues, and leadership. I am actively applying techniques and tools," says Carla Howard, a recent SAIL Graduate.

Haering Precision Tour

Meet Beth Tyner, Client Relations, and Imani Davis, Marketing. Both joined Greg and Shelley's team in Fall of 2023. Workforce Strategies Group leads the management of Georgia Mountains Works MFG Sector workforce development strategy for WorkSource Georgia Mountains.

At Hart College and Career Academy, the students in Mr. Carey's glass cutting and welding class did a great job as they practiced torch cutting for the first time. #FutureWelders

Overdrive Logistics partnered with Operation Christmas Child to gather and pack boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children worldwide. #OperationChristmasChild

Franklin County Middle School's Foundations of Engineering class explored exciting opportunities at tour of Haering Precision. Students gained valuable insights into the company's production line, bridging the gap between classroom to real-world. #MFGTour

Students from Franklin County High School, carpentry program, worked on a Christmas project, using scrap wood and donated pallets. This hands-on activity allowed them to practice measuring and cutting perfect angles. #CTAE

ASI Southeast hosted forty-two students from Mrs. Megan Ivester's Career Class, accompanied by Stephens County School Superintendent Dr. Connie Franklin. This was all part of the 8th Grade Industry Tours.
