2026-27 Saint Theresa School Registration Now Open!

Registration for the next school year is open--click here! Re-registration will again be through Simple Tuition Solutions (STS). Registration fees are $135 for the first student, and $60 for each additional student. Aim to complete re-registration as soon as possible to assist us with planning for next year. The financial aid application, if that is needed for your situation, is also part of the re-registration process. Contact Mrs. Leslie Yeakley with any questions.

Open House

Join us on Thursday, January 29, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for an Open House at Saint Theresa School. We look forward to meeting families interested in a Saint Theresa education, as well as current families. Prospective students can take tours, while all visitors can talk with teachers, visit classrooms, shop the Saint Ignatius Book Fair, and see student art and STEM projects.

Golden Apple Nominations Open

Nominations for the Golden Apple Award are now open! The Diocese of Harrisburg's Golden Apple Award Program honors outstanding teachers and administrators for their dedication to education in Catholic schools. Thanks to the generosity of the Donahue Family Foundation, winners receive a $5,000 award and are honored at the Diocese in the spring.

The Diocese of Harrisburg presents a Golden Apple Award to seven exemplary Catholic educators in our diocesan schools. Families and staff are invited and encouraged to nominate a Saint Theresa School teacher whom you believe deserves a Golden Apple Award.

Click here to nominate by Monday, February 2. You will need to provide a detailed explanation in support of your nominee. Thank you for your celebration of our wonderful teachers!

Visit from the Peyton Walker Foundation

The Peyton Walker Foundation visited Saint Theresa School and presented an engaging and informative assembly on CPR and AED awareness for our students in 5th to 8th grades. Students learned about heart health, the importance of early response in an emergency, and how CPR and AEDs can save lives. The assembly was age-appropriate, interactive, and empowered students with valuable safety knowledge.

The Peyton Walker Foundation provides free heart screenings to students ages 10 to 22. Their next screening session is February 7, at Cedar Cliff High School. Register here.

This assembly was especially meaningful as Peyton Walker attended Saint Theresa School as a child. She died from sudden cardiac arrest while in college. Thank you to the Peyton Walker Foundation for their community outreach and support of Saint Theresa School!

Student Theme Contest

Every year Saint Theresa's holds a contest for students to create the next year's school theme. Students write a tagline and illustrate a logo, concentrating on our faith-based mission. Complete this form and turn it in along with an original illustration to homeroom teachers by Friday, January 28. Previous themes have been: Let Your Light Shine, Rooted in God's Love, Jesus is Our Anchor, and Paint the World with Kindness.

Seeking: iPad Donations

If you have an old iPad and need to recycle it, please consider donating it to Saint Theresa School. Old iPads can be repurposed for STEM class and projects. Please contact Mrs. Rossman if interested.

Ignatius Book Fair

We are so excited to host our first Ignatius Book Fair this year! Students will visit the book fair during their library/tech class or during lunches. The book fair will also be open during our Thursday evening Open House (January 29, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.).

Get ready by setting up your online account. Here you can shop online or browse and get ready to shop in person.Sign into the Ignatius Book Fair Online Store and enter your child’s name. Select your child’s classroom. Confirm and add additional children/classrooms as needed. When finished, click “Get Started” to explore the wonderful book selections!

Every purchase benefits our school! The book fair is a special opportunity to expand your family library, while also helping us earn new books for our classrooms and library.

Thank you for your support—looking forward to seeing you at the fair! Thanks also to Mrs. McDermott for organizing this opportunity for our students!

Duffle Bag Collection

Saint Theresa School's Respect Life Club is collecting new or gently used duffel bags from February 2 to 12, to support children in foster care. Many foster children move between homes with only a trash bag and, in keeping with Respect Life's mission, this gives these children something to call their own as well as some dignity in their move.

Volunteers Needed: STPAA Track & Field Coaches!

The Saint Theresa Track & Field team is looking for assistant coaches—especially for long jump and throwing. No experience is necessary! We’ll provide guidance and support. Volunteers must have their diocesan clearance badge, enjoy fitness, and love working with kids. Practices are held 2-3 evenings per week at Red Land High School with weekend meets. The season runs from mid-March through mid-May. High school students are welcome to volunteer. If you’re excited to encourage young athletes and be part of a fun, faith-filled community, we’d love to have you!
