CONTINUUM OF CARE UPDATES

Last Call for Point-In-Time (PIT) Count Volunteers

There are just a few more days left to register to volunteer for our upcoming Point-in-Time (PIT) Count taking place on Tuesday, January 24, from 6 PM to midnight.

During the PIT Count, teams of volunteers are dispersed throughout San Antonio/Bexar County to canvas zones and conduct survey interviews with people experiencing homelessness. It's not only an organized opportunity to check on our unhoused neighbors but provides valuable data and insight on trends surrounding homelessness and what resources are needed.

Register to volunteer with us before the portal closes on Sunday, January 8, at 11:59 PM. Need additional information? Send a message to grants@sarahomeless.org.

Metro Health Seeks Input on Potential Ordinance Addressing Domestic Violence

The City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District has launched a survey seeking feedback from local businesses on how to best engage with the community to create awareness on domestic violence among employees and customers. Specifically, this would include the posting of signage regarding domestic violence resources in restrooms.

The survey can be accessed through the City's SASpeakUp Portal and takes a maximum of 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback is important, as it will help shape policy recommendations and awareness campaigns, and help us get closer to preventing domestic violence in San Antonio and Bexar County. Please share this flyer with your constituents and networks.
