SARASOTA, FL., October 10, 2023 – In her second year as Artistic Director of the acclaimed La Musica Chamber Music Festival, Wu Han has announced an exciting new season of winter concerts and a much anticipated festival in the spring. The following is an overview of season highlights, a chronological concert schedule and ticket information. | |

A chance to hear Schubert's two monumental piano trios, featuring Artistic Director Wu Han at the piano, cellist David Finckel and violinist Phillip Setzer, both past and present members of the 9-time Grammy-Award winning Emerson String Quartet (Feb. 4, Riverview Performing Arts Center)

An extraordinary line up of today’s world-renowned performers bring the transformative power of music to Sarasota audiences direct from New York’s Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Guest artists include pianist Juho Pohjonen, violist Paul Neubauer, cellist Nicholas Canellakis, bassist Nina Bernat, flutist Sooyun Kim, oboist James Austin Smith, and hornist Radovan Vlatković. - A dazzling spring festival featuring a series of not to be missed concerts at the Sarasota Opera House. The magnificent roster of artists come together to present a beautiful selection of works by close to a dozen great composers including Haydn, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Arensky, and Foss, Ellis, Kodály, Smetana, Schumann and Mozart. ABOUT THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | |
Pianist, educator, and cultural entrepreneur Wu Han is the recipient of Music America’s Musician of the Year Award and enjoys a multi-faceted musical life that encompasses performing, recording and artistic direction at the highest levels. Currently artistic co-director of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and Music@Menlo, she also serves as artistic director for Wolf Trap’s Chamber Music in the Barn series and for Palm Beach’s Society of the Four Arts. | |
