Please remember:
#StopForTheBus
|
|
Hello, SASD friends! We wanted to take a moment and ask for your help in keeping our kids safe.
This year, we have continued to see incidents of motorists who are not stopping for our buses.
This is a reminder that if you see a bus’ stop arm or red lights activate, please stop and wait until they deactivate and the bus starts moving again.
Pay attention to your surroundings and proceed slowly as you resume your drive. Simple gestures can go a long way in keeping our young travelers safe.
More information is available

from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and please help us to spread the word.

Clorox 360 electrostatic sprayer to help keep SASD facilities clean, healthy
|
|
From our Buildings and Grounds Department:
"Our District recently purchased the Clorox Total 360 System Electrostatic Sprayer. This system is an electrostatic sprayer paired with Clorox solutions. It provides superior coverage through proven electrostatic technology and delivers disinfectants and sanitizers onto hard-to-reach surfaces. With our investment in the Clorox Total 360 System, we are excited to keep our facilities healthier while saving time and improving our labor cost.
We researched this system keeping in mind the impact linked to absenteeism as it relates to illnesses and infections.
Schools are often among the hardest hit with nearly 60 million school days lost each year due to cold and flu alone. With the purchase of the Clorox Total 360 System, it will make challenging, critical tasks more efficient for end-users while providing complete coverage that ultimately helps keep our facilities healthier.
The Clorox Total 360 System is able to cover up to 18,000 square feet per hour, providing superior surface coverage up to four times faster and using up to 65 percent less product, compared with our current conventional trigger sprays per square foot."
