Eighth-graders again have the opportunity to attend the career expo FutureQuest at the Alliant Energy Center next month (November).
The annual event features interactive exhibits staffed by representatives from dozens of companies from fields such as finance, government, construction, health sciences, agriculture, information technology and more. FutureQuest is organized by the Dane County School Consortium and the Madison Metropolitan School District. Last year, 223 River Bluff eighth-graders attended FutureQuest.
FutureQuest helps students "

Stoughton schools, community host students from Germany
|
|
Stoughton schools and the community recently hosted a group of students from our partner school in Greven, Germany, through the German American Partnership Program (GAPP).
After hosting a group of Stoughton High School students during their stay in Germany this summer, these Greven students and their chaperones
came to Stoughton and spent several weeks here. They attended classes at SHS, visited students at the middle school, conducted presentations at the Stoughton Area Senior Center, went on field trips, spent time with their host families and more.
Through GAPP,
SHS has a partnership with Gymnasium Augustinianum in Greven, Germany. Every other year Stoughton and Greven have an exchange program in which Stoughton students live in Germany for about a month in the summer with host families from our partner school. A few months later at the start of the next school year, their German partners live in Stoughton for about a month.
