PRAISE THE LORD

Psalm 150 says a lot about praise. Verse 6 says, “…Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.”  

Verses 1-2 say we are to praise God for His mighty acts, his excellent greatness, praise Him in the Church, and out of church. 

Verses 3-4 say we are to use musical instruments to praise God, trumpets, pianos, harps, tambourines, stringed instruments, cymbals, and noisy high-sounding cymbals.   

This is not quiet praise folks; it is praising God everywhere and with everything we have!  

It is letting Him know our love for Him through praise.  

Do not make your praise secret. Let people know your love of God everywhere you go—home, work, Church, and everywhere else. 

Luke 19:38-40 speaks of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The people were crying out with praise and the Pharisees demanded that Jesus stop them from doing this. Jesus responded to them in verse 40, “…I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, [stop praising me] the stones would immediately cry out.”  

It says if you do not praise Him, the stones will. What a poor substitute for us—stones praising God. 

 Let’s let Him know how much we love Him and Praise the Lord!
