THE SHAKING

I have recently been approached by several people that are going through very serious situations. Some are concerned they may lose their jobs. Some are very ill. Others have problems with their families. The list goes on. There is a great shaking going on.

The Lord took me to Hebrews 12:25-29. It reads, “25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven. 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 and this word, YET ONCE MORE, SIGNIFIETH THE REMOVING OF THOSE THINGS THAT ARE SHAKEN, as of things that ARE MADE, that those things WHICH CANNOT BE SHAKEN may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved [shaken] let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and fear: 29 for our God is a consuming fire.”

God is allowing the shaking that is going on to bring to surface those things that are not of Him. He is purifying his bride. Every spot, wrinkle, and blemish must go before he comes for her. The shaking taking place is absolutely necessary to bring each of us to a point that our total dependence in every area of our lives is upon God and not ourselves or anyone else.

The Governments are being shaken.

Families are being shaken. 

The workplace is being shaken.

Finances are being shaken.

Everything that is manmade is being shaken.

Do not look at these things and get angry. God loves us enough to bring those things that displease him to the surface so we can make a choice to let go of those things and go with God; or we can hold on to them and separate ourselves from God.

This is a serious time. Do not try to stop this shaking because it is God doing it and not the devil. The more you resist, the harder the shaking will be. The more you allow it, the quicker you will go through it and be right with God. Do not try to stop it from happening to others either. You might be interfering with God’s plan for their lives. Trust God through it, and you will come away as gold tried and purified.
