WAKEUP CALL
I often have watched war movies. In every one that had troops sleeping, there would be a wakeup call to get them up and going. Sometimes it was a bugle. I’m sure hearing that bugle sound in your ear would cause anyone to immediately wake up and get ready.
In Joel 2:1 it says, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.” This is a prophetic warning given to Israel to let them know what was about to come. It was a wakeup call to pronounce judgment on the land. It is also a future prophetic word for what is going to come to the world.
I honestly believe that the U.S. and the rest of the world have been given a wakeup call for several years. The Biden administration openly displayed contempt of God by lighting the White House with a rainbow flag, which in this present time represents homosexuality. The devil has tried to steal the rainbow from God and has done a good job with it. While this was going on, the church for the most part did nothing. Oh, they talked about it, but they did little to bring change. The election in 2016 gave us a short reprieve of four years under the Trump administration that did not let that happen again until now.
Now under our present administration not only have they endorsed that “gay flag”, but they have put it in our embassies throughout the world. This is like spitting in the face of God. Food chains are openly endorsing this also. Nickelodeon, the channel for children has also endorsed in their agenda. Schools are insisting that children be taught transgenderism so innocent children are exposed to this abomination and can decide if they are a boy or girl. They have taken away the name Mom and Dad and now use neutral genders in many parts of the world. People have been arrested and tried and then given prison sentences for opposing transgenderism.
The flagrant flaunting of sin is a stench in the nostrils of God. While we had four years to raise up godly officials to lead this nation we chose a different path, believing that we would have another four years under Trump. Yes, I believe the election was rigged, but no one gets put into office that God doesn’t allow. I truly believe the mess our country is in is because the church for the most part didn’t want to get involved. The “Church” has those that have endorsed the gay flag, and many ministries will be judged for this sin.
I believe we have been given a wakeup call with COVID19 and the shutdown of the entire world. I believe God has tried to get our attention. There has been some repentance but not on a national level in our government. God judges the Church first, and then the nation. We have been given a wakeup call. The alarm has been sounded. I pray that many Christians will rise up and take back what the enemy has stolen, but so far all I see is talk without action. There is a remnant out there leading souls to Christ and pulling them out of darkness, and God will reward their faithfulness. I pray you are part of that remnant working in the field for Jesus.
As for those that are lukewarm? God said he would spit them out of his mouth. The alarm has sounded, I pray that those that have read this have listened and will respond to the wakeup call and say, “yes, Lord, send me into battle!
