PRAISE IS A WEAPON
In Psalm 150 we are told to praise the Lord thirteen times in only six verses.
It says:
“1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the Lord.”
Did you know that praise is a weapon? The devil hates our praise. He hates to see us happy and full of praise. He will do everything he can to stop us from praising our Lord. Your Praise wins battles that you may never know were won. Praise brings God into our presence and causes Him to draw near.
Praising the Lord will always lift you out of the “dumps” and will change your circumstances. Let your lips be full of praise, and watch the power come into your life. You will see answers to prayer spring forth. Speak praise and mountains will move and valleys will be lifted up.
Do not let Satan keep praise from your lips. “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!”
