NOVEMBER 1, 2025

We pray that this newsletter and its contents that we share will help you on your daily journey with Christ, causing you to grow in the ways of the Lord.

The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

This is why we teach so that you can grow stronger in your faith until unity comes in the body of Christ. Take what you have learned and share it with others so that we can further the kingdom for Jesus Christ.

A SACRIFICE OF PRAISE

Proverbs 17:22 says that “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

Bitterness is a weapon that Satan uses to keep us sick. When we are hurt by our friends or loved ones we have a choice—to forgive or get bitter; but bitterness comes at a terrible price. It dries the bones which can mean arthritis and will cause joy to leave our lives.

One way to get beyond bitterness and a broken spirit is praise. Praise is the one weapon that defeats Satan every time. He hates it when we praise God in our hard circumstances. He hates it when we praise in the good times.

It might be a sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15 says, “By him [Jesus] therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” We are to continually offer this kind of praise to God despite the darts that are thrown at us.

Are you bitter today? Is there someone that has hurt you, and you are still hanging on to the wounds once inflicted? Forgive that person, and your body will be healthier, and your joy will return. Do not let those wounds of yesterday cause problems for you today. It isn’t worth holding on to them. Let go, forgive, and experience the flood of joy that forgiveness will bring!  You will feel better, and it releases the other person also when we forgive them!

Now, offer up that sacrifice of praise! You have a lot to thank God for.
