THE MOSAIC

I woke up with the word mosaic in my spirit.

If you have ever looked at a mosaic, it is made up of all sizes of chipped glass, set into clay or cement. Sometimes the mosaic is put on a vase, adding much color to it. Sometimes a mosaic is put on a tile, making it a one-of-a-kind creation. None of the pieces are the same in a mosaic, but they become “one” with the finished product.

The Lord began speaking to me about the spiritual mosaic. He said all of us are like those broken, chipped pieces of glass. To the world we are worthless, but God puts us into His body, His mosaic, and we become part of something beautiful. As we reflect his light, we shine and sparkle.

Do you feel broken today? Is everything around you chaotic? Are you wondering if living life is worth it all? Do you feel out of place and do not fit in with the world? Well, then, you are a perfect piece for God’s mosaic.  

You may not know it, but you are an intricate part of the body of Christ. You may not realize just how special you are. Without you, His mosaic would not be complete. Yes, he may be working on you to fit into the perfect place in his body [mosaic], but it will all come together.

We can be confident that being part of his mosaic [his body] is more than just a random act. He has His special place for you and will show it to you as you spend time with him. 

God specializes in broken pieces. Isaiah 61:1 tells us that God anointed Jesus to bind up the broken hearted. We are each given that promise. God’s mosaic is beautiful. Aren’t you glad that you are a part of it?
