SAUSD Schools Remain Open After Tropical Storm Hilary

Thank you to our SAUSD staff for working tirelessly during Tropical Storm Hilary to ensure that our schools were ready to receive students Monday morning! District teams worked throughout the weekend to make sure that our schools remained among the safest places for children. SAUSD Holds Unveiling Ceremony for Restored Sergio O’Cadiz Mural at Fremont Elementary

SAUSD leaders gathered Aug. 18, 2023 at Fremont Elementary to celebrate the restoration and 50th anniversary of a mural created at the school by renowned Orange County artist Sergio O’Cadiz. The District worked with the Santa Ana Community Artist(a) Coalition and the community to restore the historic piece, which was crafted in 1973 in the school’s entry plaza. Click here for photos.
